About Us

AK-UK Limited is a small company based in North-West London that was established in 1996 as an engineering company to support high-tech equipment. The company has since evolved and now provides electrical services to both domestic and commercial customers. AK-UK's electrician is fully City & Guilds qualified, including 'Inspection and Testing' for all purposes. Furthermore, AK-UK Limited is registered with NAPIT, IET, TrustMark, the ElectricSafe Register and for Part P of the building regulations, and is authorised for all electrical systems.

The Fact That It Is Working Does Not Mean That It Is Safe

All work complies with the latest edition of BS7671 and Part P of the Building Regulations.

"My cottage is 300 years old and has been added to several times. The resulting electrical system was very complex and the RCD's would often flip off for no obvious reason. Several electricians during the 36 years I have lived here, had been unable to sort out the problems, sometimes throwing up their hands in horror! Now I am preparing to sell the property I needed electrical certificates. Albert was extremely thorough, and found many faults which he rectified. He changed the outdated and poorly wired RCD's to modern RCBO's, dividing up the circuits into more manageable sections which will make future fault finding much easier. He provided laminated sheets listing the circuits for each RCBO, and an extremely detailed technical report on the system as found and on the updated system, and all certificates.
